Since 1 January 2024, the national minimum wage for an experienced adult employee is €11.30 per hour. The Government has approved increasing the national minimum wage by €1.40 per hour, from €11.30 to €12.70 from 1 January 2024
The National Minimum Wage is paid to an experienced adult worker who is defined as an employee who is aged 20 or over.
