Signed accounts submission

To assist with meeting the 28th February deadline, we have created a six month timescale following the end of the school year to complete the annual accounts for submission to the FSSU.

Online trial balance submission

The Department of Education and Skills established the Financial Support Services Unit in 2005 to collect and collate the financial accounts for schools in the voluntary secondary sector. A system of online submission of accounts has been approved by the Department of Education and Skills and is in operation for school accounts since 31st August 2014. This annual submission will also satisfy the legal requirements of the Central Statistics Office.

The accounts should be submitted to Trustees for approval before submission of the accounts onto the online accounts system.
