School Budgeting 2026/2027 Webinar for Voluntary Secondary Schools

Overview

In accordance with the Articles of Management boards of management are required to prepare an annual budget each year and following ratification of same by the board, to submit the budget to the school’s patron/trustees for approval. Each patron/trustee will indicate to their boards the date by which they wish to receive the budget. In general, this process should be completed by the end of May and the budget entered on the school accounts system.

In order to assist boards with the preparation of the budget the FSSU is holding a School Budgeting 2026/2027 and Annual Finance Update webinar. The webinar is free of charge and is open to Principals and accounts personnel and any other school personnel involved in the budget preparation process such as finance subcommittee members.
